The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is perfect for
data sharing requirements in an application. The XML file
may reside anywhere (for example, on the Internet), and loaded into
a DOMDocument and processed by Visual Basic. The
Document Object Model (DOM) provides the properties and methods
to manipulate the document. You should be familiar with XML before
starting this tutorial. The XML Tutorial covers the basic concepts.
To try the following examples, ensure you have the references
set by selecting "Project", "References"
then put a tick against the entry for "Microsoft XML".
